TITLE: ORDERING AND DISPATCH OF CULTURES
INTRODUCTION
The plant virus collection supplies plant viruses and positive controls for ELISA to laboratories, educational institutions and commercial enterprises but generally not to private persons. Only pure and authenticated material is distributed.
Customers ordering and receiving cultures are responsible for proper handling and storing of the materials. The collection is not liable for damages and /or injuries arising from the supply of cultures.
PROCEDURE
An ordering system is in place for correct and rapid delivery of ordered plant virus materials. This is backed by a database system containing following files:
Through the dispatch process a delivery note, invoices, address labels and the shippers declaration are generated. Every package sent must contain, in addition to the delivery note, instructions for proper handling of the specific plant virus material.
